Group Therapy

Take advantage of our group therapy

We are pleased to offer group programming beyond IOP that includes Depression, Stress Management and Anger Management. Our group services are offered in the evening to create less disruption to your daily work life and are presented in an open format meaning access for you is always available. If you are interested in participating in one of our group programs, please call (785) 393-6167 to be scheduled for an initial intake appointment where we will assess all your needs and develop a treatment plan that is specific to you.

Positive Parenting

If you’re tired of power struggles, yelling and searching for the right “consequence”, look no further. You are about to discover the practical tools you need to transform your parenting in a positive, proven way. This is a 12-week group with certification at the end of the course. Additionally, there is a 4-week practical home life skills group offered that is optional. This parenting group is presented by Anissa Pfannenstiel, LCSW, and it starts at the beginning of each month.

Take Control of Anger, Don’t Let Anger Control You:

Beginning in 2017, we are also starting a 12-week group on the subject of anger management. Learning about what anger is and is not will be a therapy focal point.

Combat Depression as an Illness, Not a Symptom:

Beginning in 2017, we will also launch a depression group that looks at the illness of depression. Group goals will include improving mood and reducing the effects of depression beyond talk therapy and medications.
